Hello Friends!
Welcome Farah! So happy to have you here. Tell us about The Avalonia Chronicles.
The Chronicles of Avalonia is a fantastic adventure series that will transport you to a dazzling world of myth and magic. It is a coming of age story, and one all young girls can relate to. Our main character, Aurora Firedrake, is a strong main character who takes her life into her own hands and fights for her place in the world.
Set in the magical land of Avalonia, Aurora struggles to regain her father’s throne and free her kingdom from the tyranny of her aunt, the ruling queen, Morgana. Her quest takes her on a journey of discovery to master her magical powers and finally grow into the queen she is meant to be.
Congrats on release of the second book The Rise of the Dawnstar. What is about?
The seven kingdoms of Avalonia are crumbling and evil is spreading across the land like a plague. Queen Morgana is close to finding a way to open The Book of Abraxas and it’s only a matter of time until she uses the power trapped inside its pages to enslave the entire world.
With Avalonia growing more dangerous by the day, Aurora must travel through war-torn lands and deep into the heart of the fae kingdom of Elfi. Her goal is to find a legendary weapon infused with the last of the realm’s ancient magic—the only weapon in the world powerful enough to stop the queen.
Aurora might have survived her first battle against Morgana, but the true fight to save her kingdom and restore her throne has only just begun…
You put your story The Last of the Firedrakes on Wattpad. What was the journey of gaining readers through that platform like?
It has been a quite a journey and I have gained a steady following of wonderful readers along the way. The interaction with Wattpad readers is so much more intimate and special, and the kind of support I have received has been quite overwhelming.
Which location in your story would you like to visit the most and why?
I think I would choose Elfi, the kingdom of the fae. It holds so many secrets and wonderful magical places that can’t be found anywhere else in Avalonia. It is also the most picturesque kingdom.
If you could hang out with any two of your characters from your book, who would you pick? How come?
That would be Rafe and Penelope Plumpleberry. Rafe of course I don’t need to explain why ☺ and I can’t say too much more about Penelope because of the way events unfold in The Rise of the Dawnstar. But I think everyone will get quite a surprise when they see her again.
Who would you cast as your protagonist in a movie?
It has always been a dream to see The Avalonia Chronicles made into a movie. But I don’t think I’ve found the right actor to play Aurora as of yet. I’d love to see readers casting choices.
If readers want to know more about you and your works, where can they contact you or learn more about you?
I love chatting with my readers ☺ And you can contact me on my website or any of my social media channels. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Goodreads and Wattpad.
